I would also call these consequences genetic poverty, but, whatever one may say, we all come from Soviet times. It is passed on to us by blood, from generation to generation. It's good that many people manage to escape from this nasty thing, but most, especially those living in the outback, drown in this.
These are the 4 consequences of Soviet childhood, and the answer to the question why many people live in poverty, while sometimes earning normally!
Mentality
As a child, I had a girlfriend with whom I spent a lot of time visiting. We jumped on the couch, enjoying the clouds of dust and the springs protruding from the upholstery. I remember how we accidentally broke the mirror, and then the mother scolded my friend. We met 20 years later, and she invited me to visit again. I came to her and was horrified. She still had the same sofa, albeit moved to a different corner, and the same mirror hung, carefully taped in place of the "wound" with tape. Then I realized how poor and wretched it looks. And my friend was also dirty, i.e. poor and dirty. And it's not that she's too lazy to clean up, or she doesn't have the money to repair and buy furniture. The point is that this is such a mentality. Yes, dirt is a manifestation of mentality. And dirt and poverty always walk alongside, so poverty is also a mentality
Philistinism
At school, one of my teachers, to a classmate's question about what philistinism is, answered very clearly and succinctly. She said that philistinism is when you have expensive dishes in your closet, and you eat from the old and shabby. In Soviet times, everyone did that. They took care of the crystal and beautiful sets of dishes until better times, which never came. It turns out that people had beautiful cups in the closet on a white day, and the rest of the days, therefore, they always had black? And this is transmitted genetically, because I have a familiar family, they have an entire house in expensive dishes, a lot of new clothes, but they use all the old ones. And still they buy caviar in banks, which has been with them for years, waiting for a special occasion. This is what philistinism is. But in fact, this is real greed in relation to yourself
Cinderella complex
But raising children in such harsh conditions as we were brought up sometimes leads to the fact that many women develop Cinderella syndrome. This is when you save on yourself in everything, when there is only one phrase in your head: “Why do I need this, and it’s so good, I am unworthy of it,” etc. No it is awful, I have acquaintances women who are wealthy, but they don’t know how to spend on themselves, everything is for husbands and children, but they themselves are like gray mouse. Every time they buy themselves something beautiful and expensive, their mood spoils, because they seem to feel unworthy of all this.
Subconscious programming
If children see shabby corners in an apartment, peeled off wallpaper, an old current faucet in the bathroom, it programs them for poverty. They will then grow up, and, perhaps, will earn good money, but still they will not be able to become rich. At least in the house there will also be shabby corners and a current tap. Poverty and filth initially program a person to become a failure!
Perhaps someone will object and say that on the contrary, when people live in poverty in childhood, it stimulates them to achieve more in the future. Yes, I agree, there are some, but they are few. There are many more people who break down from such childhood. And now I do not scold the state, which did not give opportunities, and I do not try to humiliate people who could not provide a decent life for themselves and their children. I'm just saying that poverty is something that is transmitted to people genetically. So drive away the bourgeoisie, throw out of your head all this nonsense that your parents "stuck" in there. Remember, wealth is your state of mind!
