One can speak for a long time about the life of Father Seraphim of Sarov. His gift of healing and self-healing was discovered in him even in childhood, when, being with his mother at a construction site, he fell from the woods, and did not even receive a single scratch. The miracles did not end there. A little later, Prokhor is the name of Seraphim in the world, he became very ill, his mother sat around him day and night, and prayed to God. As Seraphim himself later said, he dreamed or dreamed of the Mother of God, and said that he would be healed. On the same day, the weather was terrible: rain, wind. The procession with the icon of the Kursk Root Mother of God, which was walking through the city, was forced to turn off and go through the courtyard of Prokhor. Then the mother carried the child in her arms to the miraculous icon, and again begged for healing. The next day the baby recovered.
And today I want to recall some of the words of Seraphim of Sarov. He said that it is not God who gives us our illnesses, and named 3 main reasons for human illnesses. In general, Sarovsky devoted a lot of time to convey to people the whole truth about diseases, and also talked about how to keep your health. - The disease can occur if a person is constantly angry or resentful towards others. You can’t let negativity into your head and your soul. We must find peace and harmony within ourselves. You cannot respond to people with evil to their evil, condemn and negatively relate to the words of others.
- A person gets sick when he sins or commits a bad deed. According to the elder, a person after his deeds can receive illness as punishment from the Higher powers. And it is not at all a terrible evil in this case is considered a sin. Speech, for example, about dishonest act, as well as about a disregard for their own life.
Here are the main reasons why people get sick. But sickness is given not so that a person has suffering, but so that during an illness he had the opportunity to turn to his own heart, soul, and understand what he could do not So.
