This dish just won me over. It turns out that not only cakes can be made from wafer cakes! Simple, fast and delicious!

This recipe is already old, and for some reason forgotten. But cutlets with waffle cakes turn out to be insanely tasty, besides, it's not difficult to cook them at all! You don't need to sculpt anything, they don't stick to the pan, they don't fall apart. In general, you do not need any skill and, in general, the cutlets are not capricious, but look appetizing and peculiar! Can be used as a snack, served for dinner or even on a festive table. The second name of such cutlets is "lazy chebureks".

Recipe

You will need:

  • minced pork / chicken / fish - 500 grams;
  • wafer cakes - 4 pieces;
  • onion - 1 piece;
  • egg - 4 pieces;
  • milk - 50 milliliters;
  • salt and black pepper;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Preparation:

Minced meat can be taken absolutely any that you like best. By the way, if you use fish, the wafer cakes will imitate fish scales. The preparation is simple. Add one egg to the minced meat, also add the chopped onion, pour in the milk, add pepper and salt to taste. Put the minced meat on each waffle crust, cover with a second crust on top and press down with your hands. Wait 5 minutes for the cakes to soften, then cut into portions. Beat the remaining eggs with salt. Dip the cutlet in an egg and fry on both sides in vegetable oil. The finished dish can be laid out on a paper towel to drain all the fat. Optionally, you can serve it with absolutely any side dish.

Second recipe

Yes, I'm not looking for easy ways. In addition to the classic recipe, I also use a slightly modified, but still simple one. Try it, maybe these cutlets will be more delicious for you!

You will need:

  • cakes - 2 pieces;
  • eggs - 2 pieces;
  • flour - ½ cup;
  • minced meat - 300 grams;
  • cheese - 50 grams;
  • onion - 1 small;
  • salt - a couple of pinches;
  • soy sauce - 1 tablespoon;
  • black pepper - to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

Preparation:

It's best to use minced chicken in this recipe. Grate the onion and cheese on a coarse grater, add to the minced meat. Pour in soy sauce, add pepper and salt. Soy sauce will give the dish an original taste, just do not forget that it will salt the minced meat, so be careful with the salt so as not to oversalt the dish. Knead the minced meat until smooth. By the way, grated onions are put together with onion juice, so it's juicier.

Place the cakes on the table. Spread the minced meat evenly in a layer no more than two centimeters. Place the second cake on top and press with your hands. Let it soak, then you can cut it like a cake. It is best to use a serrated knife for slicing. Prepare the batter, for this, beat the eggs with salt. First, dip each cutlet in flour, and then whole in eggs. Fry the cutlets in a skillet with heated vegetable oil on both sides over medium heat. It will take about 3-4 minutes.

You can serve such a dish while still hot, or you can eat it cooled down. Delicious anyway!

To prepare such cutlets, you can use both rectangular and round cakes. In the first case, how to cut it is clear, all the same as rectangles. If you have round biscuits, then you need to cut from the center to the edge. Get beautiful triangles!
