Our world is changing so rapidly that we, who have already matured, are very often poorly oriented in modern realities. Those who graduated from school more than 15-20 years ago, or even more years ago, know what I mean. We were not taught to prepare for any changes, we were told that the world will always remain the same, we were taught only those sciences that were important at that time.
How can you prepare your toddler or schoolchild now for possible changes in the future? What can we, parents, do so that our offspring then, like us, do not "swim" in the unknown and incomprehensible? The answer is simple, it is we, moms and dads, who must teach the child to adapt to changes!
There are skills that your child will not be taught in school!
To ask questions
Teachers at parents' meetings constantly say that since no one asks anything on a new topic, then everyone understands everything. But as soon as the child is asked a question, the teacher takes it with hostility, and referring to his busyness, he tells the child to read the rules at home, then he will understand everything. This generally discourages children from asking anything. Now schools are arranged so that a child must acquire knowledge on his own, look for additional information in order to draw conclusions, so that he has something to be put in his head there. Teach your child to ask questions! Let it be more persistent and more persistent with teachers. And answer dozens of his questions yourself, even if you have no time!

Solve problems
Even if the child does not now master the profession that will be in 10 years, but he learns to solve his problems, it will be much easier for him later! People are always afraid of a new profession with new skills, abilities and conditions. After all, all this taken together is new problems that need to be solved. You can first help and prompt your toddler or teenager how to act in a given situation, gradually moving from simple to difficult. And over time, he will decide everything himself. Do not forget to praise the child for the decisions made, so he will become more and more confident in himself, and certainly will not be afraid of difficulties.
Work in a team
In childhood, children always want to be better, to become the first. At school, they are simply praised for this, for example, for an A, while at the same time pointing out that the other student performed much worse. You need to teach your child to work in a team. It is good to be the first, but you should not become an upstart, at whom everyone looks askance.
Be purposeful
A child should know from childhood that setting goals is good, it is important. Even if his goals are not so great so far, it is worth teaching him to do this from a young age. For now, let his goal be to buy some kind of toy. To do this, he must help his mother around the house and save money. Over time, the habit of setting a goal and moving towards it, no matter what, will remain and will spread to large and even global goals! If a child wants to draw, dance, play musical instruments - do not make fun of his interests, and give him the opportunity to develop, go towards the intended goal. Maybe he will become a great and famous musician, singer, actor.
Be self-reliant and independent
The child should understand that in this life it is possible to count on the help of others, but it is better to have a solid foundation underneath. Let the child learn to do everything on his own, insist on his own and be sure to teach him not to depend on someone else's opinion.
Be happy and self-sufficient
Remember, you cannot pamper a child and overprotect him. This will not make him happy and self-sufficient. You just inspire your baby that he can only be happy if he has someone to rely on. And the child will grow up without a clue of how to become happy on their own! What then to do? Let the child be alone with himself, reading, playing, listening to music, and save the offspring from custody!
Be able to empathize
Another important skill. You can't be cold-blooded and heartless. And teach your child this from childhood. If he fell, feel sorry for him, if something doesn't work out for him, help. He will mirror all this, and begin to worry about others, sympathize and help.
Have tolerance
We are all different people. And it is worth teaching your child that he may come across personalities on the path of life that are radically different from him, and that he needs to learn tolerance, tolerance. It is the differences of people that make this life beautiful.
Do not be afraid of change and change
Only by changing something in his life, a person develops, becomes happier, lives! Teach your child not to be afraid to step out of their comfort zone and to accept the changes in their life with joy. Let him not be afraid of the unknown and the new, so he will not get lost in the constant stream of changes and become competitive.
We cannot know exactly what our children will become by profession when they grow up. But one thing we can do for sure is to help them become self-confident, independent, decisive. We can make a real person out of our baby. And they certainly won't teach him that at school!
