All personal hygiene products require not only regular care, but also periodic renewal. If you do not want to harm your health or sacrifice your appearance, read the recommendations of experts on the timing of using some of the usual things in everyday life.
Requirements for personal hygiene products
We have compiled a list of essential personal care products that must not be neglected.
1. Combs. They regularly come into contact with hair, both clean and not so clean. Plus, they get styling products and house dust. Therefore, combs need to be washed with hot water at least once a week. And every 6-8 months they need to be replaced with new ones.
2. Toothbrushes. It is advisable to replace them once every 2-3 months, and not wait until the bristles are completely erased.
3. Body sponges, brushes and washcloths. With prolonged use, pathogenic bacteria settle in them and actively multiply. They need to be changed every 1-2 months.
4. Bed linen and bath towels also require regular maintenance. If it is not possible to regularly buy new textiles, then it is necessary to wash them at high temperatures at least once a week.
5. Shaving accessories. These include brushes and blades. Ideally, they should be disposable, but if you use them many times, change them at least after 5-7 uses.
6. Pumice stone for feet and nail files. These objects can also develop pathogens and fungi that are hazardous to health. Change them once a month and treat them thoroughly after each use.
Despite the fact that modern personal care products are made from synthetic materials and are easily processed at home, one should not neglect the timing of their use. Saving money on these little things can lead to serious illnesses or allergic reactions.
