Agree monotony quickly gets boring. This applies not only to the appearance or our clothes, it also directly applies to our food with you. That is why I want to tell you about some tricks that can easily and effortlessly change the taste of our familiar recipes with you. In fact, I was sure that many people already use this method and many are familiar with it. However, this is not quite true.
Once my sister was visiting me, I prepared the most ordinary and familiar "Olivier" to all of us, but using just these tricks I will tell you about later. She began to wonder what kind of yummy it was and started asking for a recipe. So, if you want to surprise your household, then read my article further. You will be surprised how easy it is.
The method is usual: change the gas station. As well as established, a large number of salads - including from the classic "Olivier" and "herring under a fur coat", also ending with some of the most "interesting" are loaded with a sauce that we call mayonnaise.
At the present time, a large number of years later, numerous scolds this common Soviet mayonnaise. Undoubtedly, I also, I confess, to this sauce unwound directly in the infancy and youth years.
Due to the fact that the taste of mayonnaise at that time was remotely not the most optimal, just as it might seem to me at first glance. However, the given is definitely subjectivity, so in this case. Also, there is no need to move the barrel to the Russian industry for no reason: it produced mayonnaise in accordance with technological processes, confirmed from above (but the know-how of the recipe was also exercised directly by food technologists and culinary specialists).
The question of the taste of mayonnaise existed in this, in fact, it was already very vinegar-sour. By the way, this requirement can be applied to most sauces of this period, but not everything is so simple. As well as constantly, there is one "but". Cooking is by no means a static manifestation. It is formed, the taste of dishes also changes - which, in this case, considered appetizing, recede into the distant past. It's just like the young are replacing the old, that's life.
I interpret this to the fact that earlier (probably, including at the source, also including closer to the half of the twentieth century) in the process, there were still just fragrant, vinegar-sour sauces (taking, in spite of that, the most famous one, which was formed by the delicious marinade "Soya Kabul", is currently successfully forgotten). Also, the general Soviet sauce was an artifact of this period. The standardized structure of Provencal mayonnaise, in accordance with the recipe of the half of the twentieth century, had a large amount of oils and additives that were not so useful for the human body.
Food hobbies change, the concept of appetizing and healthy food changes. However, also at that time, the taste of standard mayonnaise was not to the taste of the majority in any way (sorry for the tautology).
Someone actively diluted it with sour cream on various scales - it was assumed that in this way the sauce was made softer.
And in our family they acted easier - the sauce as a whole was chasing the recipe of our usual salads. Instead, make a dressing of sour cream, which, according to the taste, by the way, ordinary sour cream very well replaced mayonnaise.
Preparing this gas station is absolutely nothing easier. We take boiled yolk for the purpose, knead it well, add sour cream to a glass, and knead it in such a way that there are no yolk lumps. Next is a spoonful of trimmed mustard. Salt also pepper according to the flavor. Tadam! Delicious also the desired marinade-topping is ready.
It sounds no worse than mayonnaise, it is also healthier and more appetizing many times over.
