Surely among the visitors to my page there are gardeners who have more experience and experience than mine. But nevertheless, I will venture to give some advice, perhaps someone will find them useful.
I want to share with you a very good recipe for foliar feeding of tomato bushes. Its application will not slow down to show results. Therefore, I strongly advise you to try it. By the way, I have been using it for several years.
This top dressing can be used outdoors and in greenhouses. it is necessary to carry out processing three times a season. Starting with flowering. But it is better to wait two weeks and then start using the solution. By the way, this preparation can be used to process not only tomatoes, but also other vegetables. If you feed more than the tomatoes need, don't worry, it won't go to waste. After all, there are other vegetables on the site.
In order to evenly distribute nutrients over the leaf, you need to use a fine spray. With its help, we boldly apply the mixture, without fear of overfeeding the bush. Ideally, spray so much that the solution does not run down to the ground. nothing terrible will happen, but feeding is active on the plant, and not in the soil. Why do we need useless overruns?
Well, enough to talk about the method of application, let's get down to business, that is, to the very process of making the elixir.
Top dressing recipe
The method is not laborious at all. any novice gardener can handle it.
1) You need to take boric acid in powder and dilute it in one glass of hot water. It is not worth taking boiling water, but the temperature should be above 40 degrees.
2) After boric acid dissolves in water, you need to take the most common potassium permanganate and dilute in the same glass. You need to take a little, just a couple of crystals. If the liquid turns a dark pink color, then the proportions are correct.
3) In addition, you need to take another glass and pour a glass of fresh (natural, not boiled) milk into it. Now we pour our solution with potassium permanganate and boric acid into a container and mix with a glass of milk.
4) We get iodine from the first aid kit. And we drop two drops into the resulting mixture.
5) And, like a berry on a cake, add urea.
6) It turns out a strange explosive mixture at first glance. But don't let that confuse you. This mixture cannot be used neat. It certainly needs to be diluted in water. A concentrated solution can harm tomatoes. Therefore, we generously dilute our elixir in water.
How feeding will help the plant
Milk is an important ingredient and cannot be ruled out. It helps the magic mixture to stick properly to the leaf. Iodine is designed to destroy the first signs of disease. Perfectly destroys most of the disease-causing fungi that harm tomatoes.
Urea greatly enhances the growth and development of the green mass of the bush. In addition, this ingredient provides a healthy green color to tomato leaves. Boron is responsible for increasing the number of ovaries and ripening quality fruits.
The proportions of the nutritional and therapeutic mixture are as follows:
Boron - you need only one and a half grams
Iodine - you need to drip 50 drops
Urea - take only 1 tablespoon
Potassium permanganate - several crystals, you need to dissolve one at a time to avoid an overdose.
Milk - one full glass
Water - a large bucket (about 10-12 liters).
This nutritional blend will provide your tomatoes with everything they need while providing disease prevention.
