Australian scientists have recently published the results of their latest in the "Sports" Nutrition Research. It turned out that the BCAA amino acids in the composition of the food may reduce the life expectancy! And this is not the first tests in the field, which led to such negative results.

What is BCAA? As already noted above, it is an amino acid with a branched side chains - leucine, isoleucine and valine. And they do help to build lean muscle mass (that's why they were so important for athletes - professionals and amateurs).

However, to pay for everything! And those who abuse the proteins (especially bodybuilders), a lot of risk.

It turns out, BCAA-amino acids belong to a much more significant role in the human body than just helpers in building muscle mass.

So, in the latest "Australian" experiment, scientists observed the experimental mice that were fed protein-controlling effect.

Elevated levels of BCAA-amino acids in the feeding led to enhanced content data acids in blood in rodents. And this, in turn, provoked a reduction of tryptophan to enter the brain - the same amino acid prior to the formation of "happiness hormone" - serotonin. After such a meal the animals became much worse sleep and no longer feel the pleasure of food. And their increased appetite (which is natural). "Norms" of mice was overeating, followed by the acquisition of excess weight, which resulted in the disease, provoking an early death.

And all this despite the fact that the increase in BCAA amino acids coming from the food, it was a small - normal consumption increased only by 2 times. A negative effect was immediate, followed immediately.

Important! Scientists believe should diversify your diet, so that the body received from different protein sources. Let it be dairy products, fish, meat, nuts, eggs, legumes and cereals. It is also very important to eat foods rich in tryptophan (turkey, sunflower seeds, cheese, soy).
