Kashi, dangerous for people with chronic diseases

Recent scientific studies have shown that some types of whole-grain cereals are harmful to patients suffering from chronic diseases. Nutritionists have called five "contra" cereals:

1. Oatmeal. Porridge of this popular cereals, recently was considered "absolutely useful", should not eat more often than 2 times a week, even a completely healthy person. The product contains phytic acid, which promotes the leaching of calcium from the body. A significant element of this for many physiological processes. Patients with osteoporosis, for example, porridge should be completely excluded from the diet.

3. Buckwheat. Previously, the croup is also considered "useful to all and in any quantity." Now nutritionists strongly recommend to reduce the amount of buckwheat porridge in the diet of patients with chronic renal failure and in the same diabetics since the product is able to increase the level of blood sugar. Also, doctors are advised to limit the use of buckwheat hypertensive (proven that the semolina contains routines that can expand vessels) and patients suffering from constipation and gassing.

4. Millet. This porridge is better not to have people with high stomach acidity, ulcers, gastritis and gout.

5. Barley. Dishes Barley and, in particular, porridge is better to remove from the diet of pregnant women, and patients with gastrointestinal problems. This product contains gluten, but it is absolutely contraindicated in those who suffer from flatulence and acidity of the stomach.

In general, however, to reconsider their attitude to the porridge of whole grains should be whole, and then amend their own menus based on medical history and current status.
