Called autoimmune diseases, developing as a result of the pathological production of autoimmune antibody or reproduction autoaggressive clones killer cells acting against the normal tissues of the human body and lead to their damage and destruction, as well as to the development of autoimmune inflammation.

There are 6 of autoimmune diseases (and in general, a lot of them), from which no one is immune. So it is necessary to get to know about:

1. Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS)

This is one of the acquired autoimmune diseases, where the immune system of our body suddenly starts to attack the phospholipids that are part of normal cell membranes.

APS is able to affect any organ, causing a state of excessive blood clotting. A blood clots (as a consequence) often leads to serious problems: myocardial infarction, venous thrombosis of lower extremities, ischemic stroke, and so forth.

2. Anaphylaxis (anaphylactic shock, or, in another way)

This is a dangerous allergic reaction, at untimely medical care often leads to death. The most common triggers in this case are the food and medicines, poisonous insect bites.

When anaphylaxis our immune system releases chemicals that trigger the development of shock with difficulty breathing, frequent pulse, low AD. Anaphylactic reaction requires immediate administration of epinephrine.

3. Guillain-Barré syndrome

A rare condition where a person's immune system attacks his peripheral nervous system (PNS). The result is muscle weakness or even paralysis.

4. sarcoidosis

It is an autoimmune disease (granulomas) that causes inflammation of the tissues in the body. Granulomas can even change the function of the affected organs.

Sarcoidosis "beats" in most cases, lungs and lymph nodes, as well as the eyes and human skin. Symptoms of pulmonary forms: dry, constantly plagued by cough, shortness of breath, chest pain. Extrapulmonary manifestations are scaly rash, pain in the eyes, swollen, painful ankle, fever, swollen lymph nodes, rapid weight loss.

5. Psoriasis

It is also an autoimmune disease characterized by inflamed patches of skin itching and the formation of plaques. Most of these plaques develop on the elbows and knees to the head and back, face, palms, soles of the feet.

Psoriasis develops when our immune system suddenly attacks the cells of the skin. Experts believe that the disease is caused by a combination of genetic factors and external triggers (including stress, vaccination, cold).

6. Sjogren syndrome

It is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the exocrine glands (lacrimal, salivary). Half of patients with Sjögren's syndrome have another (others) autoimmune disease. For example, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma.
