- You will feel better, and medications are no longer needed;
- Did you have a simple over the counter medication, just in case, you no longer need;
- In drug expiration date;
You can not use medicines that have expired! Their effectiveness may be lower, or something will change and they will be harmful to health.
Regularly check the label on the medicine packaging. Get rid of those with expired shelf life, and are no longer needed.
Why it is better not to store
- If you have a lot of medication, it is possible to accidentally mix up the tablets;
- Medications can find and poison their children or pets;
- Anybody can try to abuse the potent drugs;
- If the drugs are too many, when anything can happen overdose.
If medication is utilized correctly, then no one can be poisoned by them, and the environment will not be polluted.
How to get rid of unnecessary drugs
- To begin, read the manufacturer's instructions to the drugs.
- Do not flush medications down the toilet. When people accept them, the body detoxifies itself medications. They do not always come out of us in the same form. Pouring drugs into the sewer, you pollute the environment. Sometimes chemicals are then returned to the drinking water.
- To properly throw medicine in the trash, remove them from the packaging and mix it with some decidedly inedible garbage. For example from a litter box filler or coffee grounds.
- Do not break the tablets and capsules! The contents of the house crumble, fall under the nails, or they can breathe.
- Place the tablets with garbage in a sealed plastic bag or in a sealed jar.
- Make sure that along with the package of the medicine do not throw pieces of paper with your personal information, recipes, and other things. No need to send along with the pills your return address.
- Packaging of drugs dispose of with household waste.
