In our hearts there valves, they send the blood in one direction and not allowed back. Sometimes the valves do not work properly. They can become narrow and shriveled. Then the blood passes through them bad. Sometimes blood flows through the valve and back, and back again. From all that heart failure develops.
If they say that the valve is melted, it is likely to infective endocarditis. That is an inflammation on the valves of some microbes. When germs floating in the blood, and heart valves were not quite normal, the microbes can attach to such valves and melt them.
Meltdown can happen quickly, then there will be a high fever, palpitations, weakness, shortness of breath.
Sometimes the process is slow, all of these symptoms are less pronounced, a person lose weight, you will be sweating at night, and anemia.
The bacteria settle on the valves, they need to enter the bloodstream. Just as blood germs do not float. They get there during surgery, dental procedures or injections dirty syringe.
Usually, the infection gets on the already damaged or artificial valves, but if you run in the blood of so many germs that affected and healthy valves.
It happens that in people aged valves gradually shrink, or their delayed calcium. These valves are also vulnerable.
If the cardiologist believes that the valves are vulnerable, it will offer to take antibiotics in the most crucial moments: when picking their gums or other dangerous places.
Follow your heart
If you are not okay with the heart, and a few days high fever, be sure to consult a doctor because it could be endocarditis.
Take care of the oral health
Keep track of your teeth. Do not forget to clean them regularly brush and floss.
Leather
Keep an eye on minor skin lesions. They sometimes grow into big, and then to the blood poisoning.
If the valves are not all right, it is better to refrain from piercing and tattoos.
If the skin or in the mouth for some reason there were small red dots (hemorrhage), then it may be microembolisms. Endocarditis on valves appear growths-vegetation that covered by thrombus. Small pieces of shit (emboli) fly in arteries in the arms, legs and in different organs. There they cause damage and petechial hemorrhages. Contact your doctor whenever small red spots on the skin are poured.
Pre-take antibiotics
There is a chance that the cardiologist will offer you to visit a dentist, urologist and other physicians take a decent dose of antibiotics. This is normal. Better not mischievous, and to do so, as advised by the doctor.
