They tested the drug nivolumab (anti-PD-1), which, in their opinion, will become an indispensable tool in the fight against untreatable melanoma, renal cell cancer and skin cancer.

All these people are taking a new drug, resulting in the development of cancer in the last stages was suspended, and the people were given the chance to extend the life of up to five years.
It turned out that nivolumab acted more effectively than chemotherapy and other methods. So, the researchers cited figures in comparison: conventional therapy gives the patient a chance to increase the residence time by 5% in patients with non-small cell lung cancer - 6%, and in the treatment of nivolumabom chances of life extension increased by as much as 32%.
