Martial law in Ukraine: what you need to know the drivers

In Ukraine, martial law was declared, which applies to 10 areas and takes effect from November 28, at 09:00 am.

Drivers should be cautious and careful when traveling in these areas: Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia.

Within these areas border with the Russian Federation, of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic, access to the Black and Azov Seas. The military regime should last until December 25.

When traveling to these areas, drivers should prepare for some uncomfortable situations. When martial law, people who move behind the wheel can check the documents and the vehicle without giving a reason for review. Also, there is limited entry and exit from certain territories. Another law provides a curfew and "compulsory withdrawal and alienation of property from businesses and individuals for the needs of defense."

To maintain order, drivers are advised not to conflict with the police and military, and try to remain calm, always check the availability of the necessary documents before you get behind the wheel.
