How to cover the festive table, the food was tasty and healthy? About the principles of proper nutrition during the holidays said Acting Minister of Health Juliana Suprun on his page on Facebook.

What food is best to put on a festive table? Why do we need to replace the usual mashed potatoes? And what dose of alcohol is considered safe?

Traditionally the table Ukrainian family can be seen mashed or fries. Potatoes are not harmful, but mashed with milk or cream - it's extra calories, heaviness in the stomach. Therefore choose a simple replacement.

It may be green peas. It is not necessary either to clean or cut simply stew. Baked pumpkin suit well for fatty foods at the table. You can also select baked or stewed celery, carrots and parsnips they are low in calories, contains useful cellulose, and just cook.

The drinks

If you choose to drink alcohol, do so deliberately: it is not necessary to have a snack without measure - it will not save from intoxication. Do not forget to drink water.

Choose red wine in it, as opposed to cocktails or spirits, at least something useful there. Red wine contains a substance called resveratrol, which has a beneficial health effect of heart. It helps prevent damage to blood vessels, reduces "bad" cholesterol and prevents blood clots. But love does not justify the need for wine resveratrol. This substance is also found in grape skins, so it's best just to eat grapes.

Dessert
Do not try to impress loved ones with culinary delights in the form of a cream cake, rolls or fatty pampushek. This will cause them to overeat and feel good.

As a healthier alternative, select cheesecake, berry jelly or "Crema Catalan" (Spanish dessert from milk, starch, citric peel, cinnamon and yolk), banana mousse (bananas, soaked nuts, dates and cocoa), or home-baked cookies ginger apples and pears.

But it is not necessary to replace kutyu nothing. Wholegrain wheat, poppy seeds, nuts, and dried fruits uzvar - all useful!
