According to the British edition of the Daily Mail, 32-year-old Melanie Bassett is already raising two children. When doctors informed her that she was now carrying triplets, the woman was shocked by the news.
For the first time, Melanie found out about her pathology in 2016, then she was pregnant with her eldest daughter, and two years later her son was born.
Pathology in general does not complicate conception, but increases the risk of premature birth and even miscarriage, and the chances of conceiving and bearing triplets were estimated as one in a million. Nevertheless, Melanie was able to do it, she became the first woman in Britain to give birth to triplets, having two wombs.
In one uterus she carried twins, and in the second - the third baby.The mother of many children admitted that now she is happy, together with her partner and children, she is waiting for Christmas, which will be the first for the triplets.
