The Ministry of Education explained how to arrange a child in a kindergarten if your family moved from a permanent place of residence due to the war in Ukraine
For a month now, our country has been fighting an attack by orcs from Russia. Many families left the places of active hostilities, saving their children, for more peaceful regions of the country. And now they faced the question of how to arrange a child in a kindergarten at a new place of residence.
The answer was given by the Ministry of Education by publishing an explanation for the heads of the departments of education and science of the regional (military-civilian) administrations. The ministry also asked to facilitate the enrollment of preschool children in educational institutions.
The Ministry of Education told how to arrange a child-displaced person in a kindergarten
"In accordance with paragraphs 8, 9 of the Regulations on the institution of preschool education, approved by the resolution Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 12, 2003 No. 305 (as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27 2021 No. 86), the enrollment of children in a state (municipal) institution of preschool education is carried out by the head such an institution during the calendar year for vacant places in the order of receipt of applications for enrollment. An application for enrollment is submitted personally by one of the parents or another legal representative of the child," the Ministry of Education of Ukraine noted.
What documents need to be submitted
- Application for enrolling a child in kindergarten
- Copy of the child's birth certificate
- Medical certificate issued in accordance with Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine "On the protection of the population from infectious diseases", together with the conclusion that the child can attend a pre-school education.
Kindergarten applications can be submitted offline or online if available.
