The fact is that according to nutritionist, nutritionist Nadezhda Tsapkina, the acids contained in tangerines have an irritating effect on the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines. Therefore, due to the excessive amount of tangerines, you may feel stomach pains. If you suffer from gastritis, you can get an exacerbation of it.
Another reason why you shouldn't eat too many tangerines is because our liver doesn't like too much fructose. The optimal amount is no more than 40 grams.
Therefore, Nadezhda Tsapkina advises adults to eat no more than 4-5 medium-sized tangerines per day. Children need even less - 2-3 pieces a day.
