When the outside temperature drops to zero and below, the glass cars fog up and even freeze. This creates additional inconvenience, because you need to warm up the car, and in the morning, as a rule, time is running out. And sometimes it happens that the glass seems to have thawed, but after leaving the shade in the sun, it turns into a solid white screen. And this is very dangerous! In addition, humidity and dampness, rain, the first snow are affected - these are the inevitable "delights" of the cold season. So how do you deal with fogging windows?

1. Moisture inside the car is brought by the driver and passengers themselves: on shoes and outerwear. Therefore, it is important before getting into the car, shake off the drops of water and beat off the shoes.

2. Check for clogged air filter. If it is clogged, then the flow of fresh air will not flow into the car, and as a result, the windows will sweat.

3. If air enters the car, then it should come out in and out. Therefore, check the serviceability of the ventilation holes in the trunk, as well as the air release valves - they are under the bumper.

4. Under the wipers there are drains for the air intake box. If they are clogged, then the moisture drops will not merge, but will stand and “ferment”.

5. Likewise with the drain pipe from the air conditioner. If clogged, there will be moisture problems. Check it out.

6. Hatches, doors, trunk should close tightly. This will prevent moisture from entering the machine.

7. Rubber pads, rugs, floor troughs collect moisture and must be removed. A rag, a newspaper, no matter what, but it must be done daily.

8. So-called auto-ramps are sold in specialty stores. These are rugs that hold up to half a liter of water.

9. You can use a homemade dehumidifier. Place the litter pellets in a regular sock and tie. Place the product on the floor of the machine.

10. Automotive de-foggers are also sold. But consider. That it is necessary to process only dry glass. It makes no sense to apply the product on fogged ones.

11. Well, if the air temperature is expected to drop sharply and your fogged-up windows are covered with frosty patterns, do this trick. At the last 200 meters before the parking lot, open the windows and let out all the warm air. The temperature in the cabin and outside is level.
