Children love the adventures of their own kind. Offer your child a funny book about children's pranks. We have selected the best books about children for younger students

If your child does not like to read, most likely, you simply did not find the “right” book for him. A book that will meet his interests and capture the child in such a way that he himself will want to turn page after page. These can be books of any genre, from fairy tales to encyclopedias. However, it was noticed that children aged 7-9 years like books about their peers most of all. These books tell about feelings and experiences that are close to a child. And the funnier the story, the higher the "authority" of the printed friend becomes.

"Deniskin's stories". Victor Dragunsky

If you have not read this timeless classic of children's literature, start immediately - even with your child, even yourself. After one or two stories, you are in a good mood. There is nothing extraordinary in the stories: the author describes the everyday life of an ordinary boy Deniska, his adventures in the yard and at school, relations with his parents and friends. The story is in the first person, so you and I look at the world through the eyes of an eight-year-old boy. Dragoonsky managed to convey the children's perception of the world so accurately that while reading stories you yourself feel like a child. There is no tedious moralizing in the stories, but each of them leads the reader to some important conclusion - why you need to be honest, how to remain yourself and appreciate what you have.

Among the shortcomings is the presence on the pages of Soviet life (the book was written in the 60s of the last century). But in most stories, this is almost invisible. Therefore, to deny yourself and your child the pleasure due to the fact that the book "about the scoop" is definitely not worth it.

"Bagato of Merry Stories". Vitaly Kirichenko

This book is called a modern analogue of "Denis's stories", and the author - the Ukrainian Dragoon. If you fundamentally do not want to read about the Soviet past with your child, then you just need to buy Bagato Velyikh History. Vitaly Kirichenko writes about childhood no less accurately and piercingly, because he father of five, which means that he repeatedly lived all the stories about which he tells in the book. It is also written in the first person, on behalf of a restless boy who constantly gets into some funny troubles. What are the titles of the stories alone: "Enema against the book", "The most beautiful ears", "Rag monkey", "Button queen"... Believe me, each of them contains a generous portion of humor.

"Ella and Friends". Timo Parvela

(photo from open sources)

An incredibly funny collection of stories about the adventures of the girl Ella. She is in the first grade and, together with her friends, brings everyone around to nervous breakdowns and hysterical laughter - the teacher, his wife, the headmaster, museum workers and the school bus driver. And all this is not out of malice, but from a naive and sincere desire to help everyone. However, this help always turns everything upside down.

The book is autobiographical: its author Timo Parvella worked as a primary school teacher for a long time. At school, he met his future wife and together with her decided to write about what he knows best in the world - about children, about their pranks, restless personality and constant (often-densely destructive) desire to change this world to the best.

"Friendship and other ugliness." Irina Potanina

A book "for one tooth", which, nevertheless, is worthy of settling in your library. It has only 60 pages, but each of them is charged with laughter and funny children's pranks. The author tells the story of the friendship of a whole children's company, starting with the senior group of kindergarten and ending with the first grade. If your child is just at this age, it will be very interesting for him to follow the adventures of children, empathize with them and laugh at funny situations. And for those who already know how to read, the book will definitely "come in" for independent reading thanks to its simple and understandable style, short stories and colorful page design.

"I x Tram + Zoo." Kuzko Kuzyakin

Another Ukrainian author in our selection, Kuzko Kuzyakin (real name Dmitry Kuzmenko) writes great stories for children of primary school age. In the book with the original title "I x Tram + Zoo" he introduces us to an ordinary boy who manages to get into unusual situations. An active dreamer lays buttons under the wheels of a tram to skip school, arranges a burglary to please a girl, and “concedes” his first love to his best friend. He also conducts a duel for his parents, feeds cockroaches and lives with a real dragon. Where is the truth here, and where is the fiction? Only a child can figure this out.

Adventures Big and Small with Ponytail. Anya Dobrochasova

Anya Dobrochasova is a young children's author and talented illustrator. She wrote and herself designed stories from the life of a schoolboy Vovka. The stories are not simple, because they are all with Ponytail. And Ponytail is younger sisterwho never lags behind her brother. Together they constantly find some kind of adventure, and the older brother often does not like it. He even writes a letter to Santa Claus, where he asks to "exchange" his sister for a dachshund dog. However, soon Tail becomes the boy's best friend and companion of all games. And how could it be otherwise - after all, without her, there would not be so much fun in life.

 "Bad luck". Joseph Olshansky

Finishing the selection is a book by another Soviet writer Iosif Olshansky. Unlike Dragunsky and Nosov, not many people know about him now, and in vain. This is a talented playwright and screenwriter, who, moreover, turned out to be also an excellent children's author. His book “Unlucky. Several funny stories from the life of a seven-year-old man who is unlucky "for a long time stood on a par with" The Adventures of Dunno "in popularity.

The main character of the stories, the boy Kostya Probochkin, is firmly convinced that he is catastrophically unlucky in life. Everything he conceives turns out to be wrong. This is largely due to the fact that Kostya never asks his parents for advice. And also because Kostya has a younger brother who often interferes with the implementation of ideas. As a result, all the most serious ideas turn into incidents and funny stories, from which not only children, but also adults will have fun.
