The Ministry of Education and Science has published new guidelines for assessing the knowledge of schoolchildren in grades 1-4. There will be no points now
The point system is proposed to be replaced by a verbal or level assessment. Also, the assessment should be anonymous to outsiders and available only to the student and his parents.
"Recommendations introduce the concept of verbal assessment (value judgment) and level assessment (value judgment with the definition of the level of the result). Verbal and level assessment can be expressed both orally and in writing. It is recommended to determine the level of the learning outcome taking into account the dynamics of achievements and designate with letters ",- reported in the Ministry of Education and Science.
- The initial level will be designated by the letter "P" (cob);
- middle - "C",
- sufficient - "D",
- high - "B".
For grades 1-2, a verbal assessment is recommended, for 3-4 grades - either verbal or level at the choice of the educational institution.
"The basis for the final assessment can be the results of the execution of thematic diagnostic works, records of assessment judgments about learning outcomes recorded on the media of feedback from parents, teacher's observations in the process evaluation ",- the message says.
