In Ukraine, they started talking about the third wave of coronavirus, and schoolchildren are being transferred to distance learning.

Due to the aggravation of the epidemic situation in Ukraine, since Tuesday, March 9, schools in many Ukrainian cities are again switching to distance learning. Most educational institutions will close in the western part of our country, where there is a surge in COVID-19.

Kindergartens will continue to work as usual.

In Lviv and in the region from March 9, education stops in all schools.

Local authorities have recommended to the administrations to send schoolchildren on vacation from March 15.

In Uzhgorod schoolchildren will definitely not study at their desks until the end of next week. However, distance learning will affect only students in grades 5-11.

Children in grades 1-4 will continue to go to school.

In Odessa older students go on distance learning from March 15 to 19, younger students will attend school by the decision of their parents.

Holidays for all students are scheduled from 22 to 26 March.

In Bukovina some schools are already telecommuting, not all kindergartens work.

Authorities Ivano-Frankivsk introduced distance learning from March 1 for all schoolchildren, schools and kindergartens in the region do not work.

Finally, in Transcarpathia children study at home until March 15, pupils in grades 1-4 while attending school.
