The Ministry of Education and Science showed a draft educational program for pupils of grades 5-9, in which new subjects appeared.

And the first complaints about the government's plans have already appeared.
For example, many moms and dads were outraged because students in grades 5-9 are invited to study the basics of Christian ethics, biblical history and Christian ethics (separately). Note that earlier these subjects were also in the school curriculum, but as electives - exclusively at will.
Now, the Ministry wants to make them mandatory, with grades in the report card.
The introduction of these subjects in schools in Ukraine will contribute to the further teaching of courses in the moral and spiritual direction, as well as the proper upbringing of students' children.It is not yet known what will happen with these items, because the parents have already turned to the government for clarifications: according to the Constitution of our country, the church is separated from the school and in no way can impose such items.
