The Ministry of Education of Ukraine sent an urgent message school and preschool institutions in Odessa, Nikolaev, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkassk and Chernigov regions.

According to the forecasts of the Hydrometeorological Center of Ukraine, a strong snow storm is expected in some regions of the country in the next 24 hours, during which up to 40 centimeters of snow may fall. The situation will be complicated by strong wind (up to 20 meters per second) and sticking of wet snow. A blizzard can start in the evening.
