Winter holidays in 2021 may be extended due to the lockdown, but not all administrations have agreed to this decision.
The Ministry of Education of Ukraine does not approve the dates of the holidays, but can only recommend the conditions for training and recreation to local administrations. Initially, the Ministry of Education and Science planned New Year's holidays lasting 17 days, from December 25 to January 10. And all Ukrainian schoolchildren have already spent these dates.
