Emotion management helps to correctly express and convey what you are feeling, without rushing into anger, aggression and tears.
1. Draw on the back
Exercise can help reduce your child's anxiety. Everyone knows the game when one "draws" letters or objects on the back of the other with his finger, and the other must guess them. But if a child is characterized by increased anxiety, then he is very worried that he cannot guess or will name it incorrectly. For such children, you need to change the rules of the game a little.
Immediately ask the baby what to draw on his back. For example, suggest drawing a sun. Play as if the sun is drawing a toy bunny with its paw. Ask how the child feels, if stroking the back is pleasant. Then "erase" the drawing, rubbing the baby's back lightly.
2. Orange
The child lies on his back, arms and legs slightly apart. The kid needs to imagine that there is an orange in his hand. You need to clench your fist tightly for 10-12 seconds to squeeze the juice out of the orange. Then the hand relaxes, resting heavy and warm.
3. A rock
Ask the child to lie on their back and imagine that there is a heavy stone near their leg. The task is to move this imaginary stone from its place. To do this, you need to slightly raise your right leg and strain it for 10-12 seconds, as if pushing a stone. Then you need to put your leg down, relax, imagine that it is heavy and filled with warmth. Then repeat the exercise with the left leg.4. Turtle
The child lies on his stomach. Ask him to imagine himself as a small turtle lying on warm sand near a river (lake / sea). The turtle is warm, good and calm; the turtle's arms and legs are relaxed. But now the sun went down behind a cloud, the turtle became cold and uncomfortable.
At this moment, the baby should strain and slightly arch his back, strain his arms and legs, mentally, as it were, pulling them into the "shell of a turtle." You need to hold the voltage for about 10 seconds. Then the sun comes out again, the turtle feels good and calm, you can relax and bask in the sand again.
5. Starfish
The child lies on his back in the starfish pose - arms and legs are spread out to the sides. Ask him to close his eyes and imagine a place where he loves to be. It should be good and safe there.Tell your child to imagine that he is in this place and does what he wants. He can describe it to you if he wishes. The exercise lasts 2-3 minutes, then you need to open your eyes and stretch well.
