Making slime with children at home: what is needed for this

How about needlework? To independently create a popular children's toy - slime (slime) from scrap materials at home?

The lesson will be useful for adults as well. The viscous consistency of the slime during kneading acts as an anti-stress toy. Put away the bad news phones and have fun with your family!

We asked the slime recipes in the capital market-mall "Darynok".

In the summer, the organizers of free master classes at the market mall gathered visitors to create the largest slime and set a record in Ukraine - 20 kg 314 grams. So get recommendations from experienced ones!

What do we need?

The main ingredients that are used in almost every recipe we know are PVA glue and thickener. If desired, you can also add food colors and decor elements: sequins, sequins, confetti and more.

OPTION # 1 

• PVA glue
• Sodium tetraborate
• Food coloring (if needed)
• Container and mixing devices

The simplest recipe consists of 2 ingredients - PVA glue and sodium tetraborate.

The latter can be bought in liquid form in pharmacies or in bulk form in hardware stores. The mechanics are extremely simple: you need to mix the components in a container with a spatula until you get a viscous mixture.

We determine the volumes of ingredients based on the consistency of the mass. And voila - the slime is ready.

OPTION # 2 

• Liquid soap or shampoo
• PVA glue
• Baking soda
• Food coloring (if needed)
• Container and mixing devices

This option includes ingredients that are always on hand at home. Pour liquid soap or shampoo into a container, add PVA glue (for 2 tablespoons of shampoo / soap - about 200 ml of glue). After stirring, add a little soda until a viscous mixture is obtained.

Next - take out the mass and knead it with your fingers.
