School from the age of five in Ukraine: the parliament told what it can be

School from the age of five is the idea that is being discussed in the Verkhovna Rada.

However, the deputy and member of the Education Committee Yulia Grishina hastened to warn that about school in the usual sense of the word, there is no talk.
This is not the school that everyone usually has in mind. This will be a class in which you can not sit at desks, a transitional moment between kindergarten and school, where discipline is already needed.
Grishina noted that parliamentarians are discussing in order to come to the most balanced decision, while using the experience of other countries.

By the way, in most states, children go to educational institutions from 6 and even 7 years old, and finish school at 18 and 19, respectively.

But if Ukraine starts sending children to schools at the age of five, this will not become the world's know-how. Many countries have followed this path.
Parents should not worry that, if a decision is made, they will have to dress up 5-year-old children in school uniforms, bring a backpack with them and send them to class.

Probably, in this case, the first grade will become a preparatory course for school.
