In Ivano-Frankovsk, students began to study on October 28, but literally the next day it was decided to switch to online education. From November 2, everyone will switch to distance learning, only primary classes will continue to go to school (as long as the epidemic situation allows).

In Cherkassy, ​​the children returned to their desks, and in Zaporozhye, the elders were transferred to online education.

What does the Ministry of Education and Science say?

Acting Minister of Education of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet said that the Ministry of Education and Science has provided recommendations on distance learning for many regions.

But local school administrations are in no hurry to implement them.

The reason for the need to invest in the organization of distance learning or blended learning.

We are often told that we are not ready for remote sensing. This is not true. Ukraine is ready. But, of course, distance learning will not replace the studio format of education. We have always considered distance learning as an additional option, but if the region is in the red zone, then full-time education is virtually impossible.

After October 30, it will be the school administrations who will decide in what form the education will continue.
