How to motivate a child to study at school: advice from a psychologist

For many students and their parents, school becomes a real hard labor.

The child does not "pull" algebra or physics, and because of this does not want to go to school. Do not forget that the main goal that makes us send a child to school is knowledge for future employment. And why not first arouse the child's interest in a certain profession, so that he himself then looks for the information he needs in textbooks, thus expanding his scientific knowledge?

Ideally, parents should serve it to a child who sees the father and mother develop. Sometimes parents themselves go to study, or to improve their qualifications, they sit at home reading books. Sometimes they are engaged in self-education simply because they are curious to learn something previously unknown.

Try to show your child how interesting the process of comprehending something new is, how important it is to learn something that you did not know and could not do before.
