Pupils in grades 4 and 9 who had to take final exams at the end of the year are exempt from this obligation.

Due to quarantine and the spread of a dangerous coronavirus Ukrainian schoolchildren received unplanned vacations in March and April, the educational process stopped.

Despite the efforts of the ministry and teachers, distance learning, which is now practiced everywhere, cannot be called a worthy alternative to attending school. Students are lagging behind the program and are not ready to write the final exam in a month after grades 4 and 9.

In such an emergency, the acting Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lubomira Mandziy decided to cancel the final exams together with the exam ball. The school year will end on July 1 for all students.

Graduates will have to write external independent testing, the date of which has not yet been determined.
