Scientists from King's College London have described the cutaneous manifestations of coronavirus infection to facilitate self-diagnosis of patients. According to them, rashes associated with coronavirus are characterized by the presence of either red spots or a small rash on the skin of the body.
Rashes form on the skin in two cases, due to inflammatory processes in the body or too high activity of the immune system in response to the invasion of the virus.
