Forecast: how many Ukrainians can get coronavirus

According to the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko, predicting the incidence rates depends on how carefully Ukrainians adhere to quarantine.

He announced this during a briefing on countering the spread of coronavirus infection.

We have many calculations, mathematical models and epidemiological projections. Some calculations are optimistic, while others, on the contrary, show how the situation could get worse. Ukraine, taking into account all the calculations of various institutions, is preparing for a meeting with the coronavirus and is introducing certain preventive measures. We can talk about a lot. We can talk about 200 thousand and about millions of people who can get sick.

He added that Ukraine is able to stop the spread of the virus, for this every citizen must consciously approach prevention and stay at home as long as possible.
