Stoll: the perfect recipe for Christmas baking

Opara:
Fresh yeast - 50 g
Milk - 180 ml
Flour - 150 g

Dough:
Yolks - 3 pieces.
Sugar - 60 g
Almond Flour - 50 g
Spices (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.)
Flour - 450 g
Salt - a pinch
Butter - 250 g
Nuts (any) - 200 g
Butter - 50 g
Powdered sugar - 50 g

Step by step PREPARATION:

1.Dried fruits are well wash, chop the candied fruit into small pieces, place in a container. Orange peel grate, squeeze the juice from the orange. In the dried fruit, add zest, orange juice and rum, cover and shake well. Dried fruits should insist at least 12 hours, and better day.

2.Prepare brew: Take 50 g of yeast by adding thereto 1 tablespoon sugar and 180 ml of warm milk and stir until uniform. By adding 150 g of sponge flour and mix. Cover with towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes.

3.When the dough is suitable well, besieged it and add 60 grams of sugar, 3 egg yolks, 50 g almond flour, a pinch of salt and spices. Spices can take on your own taste: ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, and others.

4. Then add half of the flour and stir with a spoon, then pour the flour the work surface, to shift the dough and knead by hand. Slowly stir in the dough 250 g of oil and the remaining flour. Well knead the dough until soft, cover with a towel and leave for 40 minutes to approach

5.When the dough is suitable, besieged it again and leave for another 40 minutes to approach.

7.Punch the dough, place a mat on a work surface, and stir into the batter. If the dough is too sticky, add 50 g of flour, but not anymore.

8.Then divide the dough into 4 pieces, put each in paper oblong shape, cover with a towel and leave it approach.

9.Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown within 60 minutes.

10Cooled Stolle Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

11.Wrap them in greaseproof paper and then in foil and leave to mature for 2-3 weeks. Enjoy your meal!
