There are trendy dishes, and there are timeless ones. Well, who doesn't like sausages in dough? If you try to cook them according to my recipe, then I promise you, even the most picky tasters will like them! I know that in recent years people have started to refuse such food. And the point here is not in proper nutrition or in complete denial of the benefits of sausages, but in the fact that the sausage in the dough is associated with poverty for everyone! But I want to answer to both opponents. If you take expensive high-quality sausages, or maybe someone knows how to make them himself, as well as knead a lush tasty dough, then your dish will turn out to be excellent!

You will need:

  • milk or water - 250 milliliters;
  • sugar - 3 teaspoons;
  • dry yeast - 6 grams;
  • flour - 400 grams;
  • vegetable oil - 50 milliliters;
  • salt - ½ teaspoon;
  • sausages - 15 pieces;
  • eggs - 1-2 pieces.

How to cook:

The most important thing in this recipe is to properly prepare the dough. To do this, you will need the obligatory warm milk (or water). Pour it into a bowl, add yeast and sugar, and stir well. Add a little flour, stir everything thoroughly again, cover the bowl with a towel, and leave the dough for 15 minutes.

After that, you can add vegetable oil, salt, mix, and gradually introduce flour. Be sure to sift it so that your dough is soft and fluffy.

You need to knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands, turns into elastic and soft. All this will take you about 7 minutes.

A little advice: to cook the dough, and indeed anything, you must certainly be in a good mood, then you will have a brilliant result!

Make a round from the finished dough, and put it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil. Cover the dough with a towel again and put it in a warm place for 1.5 hours. Watch the dough, it will rise, it needs to be crumpled, and again left to rise.

Now it's time to sculpt sausages in the dough. Prepare everything in advance. Divide the round dough into 15 small pieces. From this amount of ingredients, you will get sausages in dough with a weight of about 50 g each. Round the pieces of dough a little, cover with cling film, and let them lie in a warm place for about 15 minutes.

A little tip: do the dough indoors, the draft is unacceptable, otherwise your pies will not be fluffy enough.

Now you need to make a long flagellum from each dough piece. Take a sausage and wrap this flagellum around it in a spiral. Repeat with each sausage.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the sausages on top of it, cover with a towel or cling film and let sit for 15 minutes. At this time, turn on the oven, let it heat up to a temperature of 180 degrees. Grease the sausages with an egg so that they are golden brown. You need to bake them for 25 minutes.

Done! It is best to eat these sausages while they are hot. It is at this moment that they are incredibly tasty. But even the next day they will remain soft and appetizing. Just preheat them in the microwave and enjoy.
