There are already a huge number of fake recipes for coronavirus that can be found on the Internet.

Cure for COVID-19 is offered with ginger, lemon, hydrogen peroxide, and towel wipes.

In the special section of the program "Vіkna-novini" on STB the most common myths were debunked by the ex-minister of health Zoryana Skaletskaya.

There are a lot of fakes in our information space now. Among them:

Ginger treats coronavirus. This is spread on social networks and the media. Some advise drying the ginger and taking it on an empty stomach, others just chewing. Oleg Torsunov, a Russian doctor with a dubious reputation, says that ginger is so powerful that coronavirus infection is afraid of it. And even though this is nonsense, people believe.

This is evidenced by the fact that ginger is scattered. In some stores, where its cost was 199 hryvnia, it no longer exists. Where there is, the prices are sky-high. For half a kilo of ginger, some sites ask to give half a thousand hryvnia.

It's the same with lemons. Now they are more expensive than grapefruits.

A kilogram is 78 hryvnias, and all because they were also credited with healing properties. Messages are spreading through the vibeer that lemon, soda and hot water are the cure for coronavirus. They say that all Israel does this and therefore does not get sick.

In fact, there are already about 8 thousand patients in this country.

Another miracle cure is hydrogen peroxide. Some advise to drip it into the nose.

Doctor Evgeny Komarovsky says:

Don't be fooled by this quackery. Use hydrogen peroxide for its intended purpose. This is a disinfectant!

Another fake is hot towel wrapping.

They say that by warming your lungs, you kill the virus. Just like inhaling vapors, gargling, taking hot baths, or drinking hot drinks.

So, recall: there are no specific drugs for coronavirus yet. Treatment is only symptomatic. But the good news is they are looking for drugs.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adganom Ghebreyesus notes:

74 countries have joined the studies comparing the four drugs and their combinations. More than 200 patients were randomly selected for one of the stages of the study. Each patient who joins takes us one step closer to finding effective drugs for coronavirus.
Be conscientious and check information as carefully as washing your hands. Strengthen your physical and psychological immunity, use reliable sources of information, stay calm and be healthy.
