Doctors from different countries regularly record cases of re-infection with coronavirus, what does this mean for humanity?
Re-infection with the same disease does not give a person immunity, antibodies that have already been developed during the body's fight against the antigen. If immunity is not developed, then relapse is possible.
With the coronavirus, the situation is still ambiguous, scientists are inclined to believe that even those who have had COVID-19 do not there is (or does not always arise) persistent immunity that protects them from re-infection long-term time.
Regarding recovery and re-infection, I believe we have no answer to this question. It is unknown- admitted in the WHO. Soon, when the pandemic subsides, doctors from different countries will study the state of the body in people who have undergone coronavirus in mild and severe forms. Only after that it will become clear whether people develop immunity.
While doctors are urging to be careful, even people who have already recovered from the coronavirus, since the likelihood of re-infection exists.
